销售服务而非设备对生成废弃物环境的潜在影响 — 对全球信息通信技术的影响

ITU-T L.1024建议书利用利益攸关方汇编的信息，深入了解信息通信技术（ICT）生态系统中的案例，其中ICT货物作为服务或订阅而不是产品出售。目前，从环境的角度来看，这些案例没有得到清楚的理解。

目前的估计是，每年销售数十亿新的ICT货物 – 智能手机和其他产品，预计2025年的销售额将高于2020年。

基于服务化的商业模式能够最有效地改善这些ICT货物的流通性，但这种商业模式并没有得到很好的理解，例如延长寿命或提高电子废弃物的收集率。
