信息包网络定时和同步概貌

本建议书规定信息包网络同步的概貌。它规定不得超过的抖动和漂动的最大网络限值。它规定抖动和漂动的最小设备容限，这是在这些信息包网络的边界TDM接口必须具有的容限。它还概述对网元同步功能的最低要求。
为了保证由不同制造商生产的设备能互通和满足网络的性能，必须坚持本建议书规定的说明抖动和漂动特性的要求。
本版加进了ITU-T第15研究组2006年12月14日批准的勘误1提出的修改。
