Title:
IEEE Std. 802.1AX-2014: IEEE Standard for Local and metropolitan area networks - Link Aggregation
2.
Status of approval:
Approved in 2014
3.
Justification for the specific reference:
This specification has been developed by the IEEE and is used by the ITU-T without change. It specifies Link Aggregation which allows one or more links to be aggregated together to form a Link Aggregation Group, such that a Media Access Control Client can treat the Link Aggregation Group as if it were a single link. G.8021/Y.1341 defines the relevant functional components of this specification.
