Summary: In this recommendation, limit levels and measurement methods of disturbances from lighting equipment, which is located at telecommunication facilities, is regulated. Target disturbances are stationary conducted and radiated disturbance, occurred when lighting equipment is lighted, and transient conducted disturbance, generated when it operates power switching. Target frequency range of stationary conducted disturbance is 9 kHz to 30 MHz, and that of stationary radiated disturbance is 30 MHz to 1 GHz. Additionally, this recommendation regulates the limit level of transient disturbance, for protecting communication equipment which applies transmit signal under 30 MHz, such as ISDN, ADSL, and VDSL, which are reported some malfunction, caused by the transient disturbance, generated when lighting equipment operates power switching.
