This Recommendation presents the signalling architecture of Lite IMS, which is the novel IMS network with the characteristics of high efficiency, extensibility, intelligence and high value-added, aiming to be applied in IMT-2020 advanced network.
This Recommendation addresses the following issues of Lite IMS.
Specifies the reference model of Lite IMS as the foundation of its signalling architecture.
Specifies the signalling architecture of Lite IMS, which consists of Unified Control Function (UCF), Service and Application Support Function (SASF), Service User Profile Function (SUPF), End-user Function (EF), Transport Control Function (TCF) and Service and Application Function (SAF).
Specifies the reference points of Lite IMS, including U1, L1, L2, L3, L4 and L5.
Specifies the general security considerations on Lite IMS.
