Summary:
|
The Recommendation will develop a framework to help application developers and device manufacturers in the evolving 5G sector to test and benchmark new mobile applications, devices, and services utilizing testbeds. This framework will provide a single figure of merit relating to the Quality of Experience – QoE of new mobile applications, services and devices designed to operate in the future 5G mobile broadband networks – and enable easy to digest, relative feedback for the developers and users of new mobile applications and devices.
Q17 will coordinate various aspects of framework definition with other SG12 Questions and SG 12 experts through joint meetings and e-mail exchanges.
In addition, part of the work will be to seek additional Recommendations or specifications that can aid the estimations in this Recommendation.
