Summary: With the rapid development of digitalization in most industry sectors, it is more necessary getting data processing through data centre. As so many different kinds of data applicative scenarios in the Internet, finance, traffic, home, etc, Cloud data centre and Edge data centre have gradually established to meet the need. With the huge quantity application of Cloud and Edge data centres, the effect of energy saving is crucial in domestic and international data centres. The objective of this Recommendation is to make clear requirements on how to design the energy saving part for Cloud data centre and Edge data centre and promote the widely use on Cloud and Edge data centre in a large scale in the future.
