Summary: Function as a Service (FaaS) is a cloud service category in which the capability provided to the cloud service customer (CSC) is the execution of CSC’s application code, in the form of one or more functions that are each triggered by a CSC specified event. This draft Recommendation provides the overview and functional requirements of FaaS. The functional requirements of FaaS are also derived from use cases.
