Summary:
|
Servers are the most widely used and key products in data centers. There is no specific guideline or method for the environment impact of them. The project will establish a method for environment impact of servers, which is supposed to help stakeholders comprehensively evaluate the environment impact of servers. It will contain the evaluation principles, basic requirements, environmental impact indicator system, assessment reports and disclosures. The environmental impact indicators system, as the main content of this Recommendation, will clarify the key aspects of the server environmental impact, including the environmental attributes, resource attributes, energy attributes, low-carbon attributes, product attributes, etc., and also clarify the significance and focus of each indicator.
