Summary: The Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) is the combination of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies with the Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure to achieve more efficient IoT operations, improve human-machine interactions and enhance data management and analytics, but not limited to. From a comprehensive review of existing standardization efforts on AI and IoT, this draft Recommendation describes concepts, characteristics, technical features and approaches of AIoT. Then, it presents a conceptual model for AIoT.
