The Recommendation provides an overview of the data supplier including its main characteristics and framework which defines the types of data suppliers, patterns and methods of data supply. The document also identifies typical use cases related to the data supplier and derives functional requirements to support these use cases.
Work for data supplier is based on but not limited to:
Big data ecosystem including the roles, sub-roles and activities specified in Y.3600. Y.3601;
Intermediary data exchange pattern in Y.3601;
Big data reference architecture defined in Y.3605.
