Summary:
|
This Supplement provides guidance on the EMC compliance assessment considerations for 5G systems. Given the 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) technical standards are still being finalised, the first version of this Supplement focuses on possible emission and immunity requirements for 5G systems. This Supplement will be revised, if needed, to address the more specific EMC requirements when technical standards of 5G systems will be published.
|
Comment:
|
Liaisons should be established with:
CISPR SC-H for the study of emission limits to protect 5G systems
CISPR SC-A for the emission test methods
IEC-77B for the immunity test methods
ETSI ERM-EMC WG for the EMC requirements of telecom infrastructure and radio equipment
Liaison with ITU-R is already in place with CISPR on the study of protection limits but this may be directly established with WP1/Q4 if necessary
