Nowadays, driven by commercial interests (advertising) spams are infiltrating every media to reach us. Operators, national organisations and software developers provide various sorts of technologies, platforms, services and apps to counter spams. However, the functionality and effectiveness of these approaches might be impaired if users' personal information protection are not taken into account in their design and implementation.
The work item intends to take users' personal information protection into account in the design and implementation of mobile messaging anti-spam solutions. It will give an overview of mobile messaging anti-spam processes, and proposes a technical security framework for countering mobile messaging spam. Entity functions and processing procedures will also be introduced. In addition, secure information sharing mechanism against mobile messaging spam will also be introduced
