Summary:
|
Non-public networks (NPNs) are intended for vertical domains like private or large businesses, shopping malls, hot spots or special events, and industrial IoT, and provide customized services such as remote control, video capture, intelligent analysis and equipment management, to achieve the purpose of reducing costs and increasing efficiency for industries. NPN has flexible networking forms and different service protocols for upper-layer customers. As a result, the operation of NPN can’t be implemented based on the series of standards or technical specifications for public network. Big data can provide wisdom for intelligent and autonomous network operation. The operation of NPN in the future should be based on big data. Big data intelligence can be generated to provide strategies for NPN under the framework of big-data-driven networking (bDDN). Based on multi forms of NPN infrastructure, big data intelligence can be generated by data sensing, data repository, data analysis, and data intelligence and service. It can provide wisdom for NPN operation such as industry application, NPN status real-time monitoring, customized quality of service (QoS), NPN resource scheduling, etc. This Recommendation will study the overview, functional requirements and functional architecture of operation aspect for NPN in bDDN.
