Summary: Soil is vitally important for both human well-being and the health of our planet. It serves as the foundation for maintaining ecological balance, ensuring food safety, promoting sustainable development, and protecting against health risks. By utilizing technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), it is possible to achieve integrated space-air-ground soil environmental monitoring and data-driven intelligent decision-making for soil protection and remediation strategies. This Recommendation provides overview, device requirements, network requirements, service support and application support requirements, and application requirements of IoT-based Soil Environmental Protection and Remediation (SEPR).
