Session 8 - TDR Service Management Interface

Abstract
Effective provisioning and usage of the public telecommunication resources to support disaster relief operations can
be greatly enhanced through direct on-line interchange of critical telecom service management information. ITU-T
Study Group 4, Telecommunications Management, has developed a new Recommendation that specifies the Emergency
Telecommunication Service Management Service to facilitate meaningful interaction between disaster relief operations
and the telecommunications service provider. An overview of this new Recommendation will be presented.
