"Mobile communications and Internet are merging
via IMT-2000 to provide advanced mobile multimedia services. In this
context, ITU is playing a preeminent role in defining IMT-2000 and beyond
systems through its Special Study Group. This seminar will address the
evolution towards IMT-2000 and systems beyond IMT-2000 and will provide a
clear understanding of ITU in providing global solutions."
