Abstract: Network Management Issues of Ethernet over WDM

This paper first introduces some services and networks on Ethernet over WDM that are now under study.
Then, it studies its operation system architecture as well as its management information model,
considering some current recommendations. Finally, it addresses some issues we encountered when
studying this management information model.
