"More women in administration – it pays off" - guidebook for businesses

The guidebook was developed in 2015 under the project of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy called "Equality of women and men in economic decision-making processes - a tool for social change". In order to promote the best Polish practice on the international area, UKE commissioned its translation to English, which is available for downloading at the UKE website: http://en.uke.gov.pl/files/?id_plik=21662

The guidebook is a tool addressed to the managers and HR directors, intended to help them advance women in their organisations to higher positions. It is the first such publication in Poland. It contains legal analysis and current statistics related to the presence of women in business, as well as a set of practical tips and solutions that can be introduced in a company to bring actual economic benefits. In addition to solid knowledge and expertise, it includes also good business practices in the area of equal opportunities. It presents many practical solutions that enhance women's careers and can be well implemented in both business in general, and ICT sector specifically. Universal character of those solutions makes it possible to adjust them to the needs of various companies and countries.​
