Smart sustainable cities worldwide are fully leveraging information and communication technologies (ICTs) to enhance the digital health and wellbeing of their inhabitants. These cities are utilizing digital infrastructure to deliver vital health information, track health trends, and locate essential health resources. During the Covid-19 pandemic, ICT applications have empowered billions of people to stay connected with their families, continue their work or studies from home, and access essential services. This page provides the most recent information and literature on how smart sustainable cities use ICTs and digital technologies to manage and improve digital health and wellbeing and lists a series of cities’ actions in response to COVID-19.
