Amendment 1 to Recommendation ITU-T G.7044/Y.1347 (2011) contains extensions to the first version (10/2011) of ITU-T Recommendation G.7044/Y.1347, related to the addition of:
- Clarification of the BWR protocol of the bandwidth increase and LCR protocol of the bandwidth decrease (clauses 7.1, 7.2)
- Enhancement of the buffer hysteresis-based specification by using a specification based on maintaining a constant signal transit latency for the ODUflex as it passes through each node (clauses 7.1, 7.1.1, 7.2, 7.2.1 and new Appendix I)
- Enhancement of the conditions for recognizing BWR_IND to avoid misinterpreting of a received AIS signal (clause 6.2.7)
- Addition of the description of maintenance signals (clause 8)
- Addition of the description of the BWR node latency measurement (Appendix I)
