| | Stéphane GhozziResearch Assistant at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research Stéphane Ghozzi is a research assistant at the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research, Germany. Following his previous work at the Robert Koch Institute, he studies statistical analyses and algorithms for the support of public health agents, in particular the identification of potential outbreaks. This includes the development of interactive visualisations and data exploration. Together with Auss Abbood, in coordination with researchers worldwide, he works in the Topic Group Outbreak of the Focus Group AI for Health on the definition of a framework for the benchmarking of outbreak detection, annotation and prediction algorithms. Dr Ghozzi studied theoretical physics at the École normale supérieure and received his PhD there in biophysics.
