The Inter-Sector Coordination Group (ISCG) on issues of mutual interest, which is composed by representatives of all three Advisory Groups, works to identify subjects common to the three Sectors and mechanisms to enhance cooperation and collaboration in all Sectors on matters of mutual interest, in order to avoid duplication of effort and optimize the use of resources of the Union.
It should consider current and new activities and their distribution among ITU-R, ITU-T and ITU-D for approval by the ITU Member States in accordance with the procedures for approval of new and revised Questions. It will also consider the reports by the three Directors and the Intersectoral Coordination Mechanism on options for improving cooperation at the secretariat level to ensure that close coordination is maximized.
It was originally set up by WTDC-14 through its Resolution 59, which was subsequently revised by the following conferences; and included in PP-Resolution 191 (Rev. Bucharest, 2022). Its Terms of Reference are approved by the three Advisory Groups.
Mapping tables
The purpose of the mapping work is to identify topics of mutual interest and the entities responsible for those topics across the three Sectors of the Union. The result of the mapping work will function as a guide to facilitate smoother information exchange within the Union in connection with the identified topics of mutual interest.

RAG, TSAG and TDAG are requested to regularly inform on any update to the Study Group Questions and Working Parties mappings.
The ISCG is requested to review these mapping tables with a view to eliminating possible overlaps of activities.
Attention is also drawn to the mapping table of resolutions of PP, RA & WRC, WTSA and WTDC. Each Sector advisory group is invited to review, provide comments and make use of this table with a view to streamlining resolutions.
