Emerging Security and Cryptographic Trends

DESCRIPTION OF THE SESSION

This training session touches on the basic foundation of cryptographic primitives in terms of definition and motivation. It discusses the necessity and the purpose of using these cryptographic primitives in multiple security architectures either in hardware or software and expose the different attacks considered for these applications. The training also considers the current trends of cryptographic primitives and how they could affect or shift the global security considerations when it comes to design or attacks for post quantum, lightweight and autonomous security environments.
