Eman Al Awadhi will talk about her journey from working as a Network Security Engineer to becoming CISO of Expo 2020 Dubai and her challenges and success stories along the way. She will share about what it takes to protect a site which is the size of a city, such as Expo 2020 Dubai, including both protecting the massive infrastructure, as well as the participant and visitor data.

SPEAKERS INFORMATION


Eman Al Awadhi is a Vice President of Cyber Security and Resilience at Expo 2020 Dubai. She has more than 13 years of industry experience, beginning as a Network Security Engineer in the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority’s UAE Computer Emergency Response Team (aeCERT) where she was awarded the Prime Minister’s Medal by the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Programme in the category of ‘Distinguished Employee’. Eman is a published author and a member of the American University of Sharjah Computer Science and Engineering Advisory Board, as well as the National Advisory Council for the College of Technological Innovation at Zayed University. A graduate of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the American University of Sharjah and a Master’s degree in Information Security from Khalifa University.
