In the context of the Women in Cyber Mentorship Programme, ITU, FIRST and EQUALS are delighted to present our third Women in Cyber Inspirational Keynote of 2022 cohort! These public events are part of the INSPIRE series of the programme, aiming to spotlight well-known and engaged women cybersecurity professionals across the globe, hence promote role models and the perception of women as valuable additions to the cybersecurity workforce.

In this event, ITU Women in Cyber Mentorship Programme will continue showcasing the women trailblazers in cybersecurity. The session will equip aspiring women cybersecurity professionals with strategies and tools to assess their current career status and help discover their ideal career path in the big world of cybersecurity. The session will focus on importance of developing leadership skills to advance to the next level in one’s career journey.

Ms. Rebecca Hughes is a Director at EY in Ireland. EY is one of the world’s leading global professional services providers employing 300k people in more than 150 countries worldwide and committed to building a better working world. Rebecca is a Senior Leader in the Cyber Security & Data Protection Consulting Practice and the Country Leader for Data Protection & Privacy in Ireland, where she leads a team of subject matter experts. She pivoted her career into Cyber Security and graduated from college 6 years ago.
