Second Stakeholder Validation and Capacity Building Workshop on Telecommunication Matters (Universal Access/ Service, Interconnection and Access, and Licensing)
The Second HIPCAR Stakeholder Consultation Workshop to adopt and validate the Legislative Frameworks on Telecommunication Matters (Universal Access/ Service, Interconnection and Access, and Licensing) and to build capacity in the specified areas, was held in Castries, Saint Lucia (12-13 July 2011), kindly hosted by the Government of Saint Lucia, the Ministry of Communications, Works, Transport and Public Utilities, and co-organized with the HIPCAR Project.
The objectives of the Consultation/ Validation Workshop were to review, adopt and validate the proposals for reform of the aforementioned framework to facilitate harmonization in accordance with the HIPCAR Model Policy Guidelines and Legislative Texts.
