Second Stakeholder Consultation and Capacity Building Workshop to Review the Legislative Frameworks on Cybercrime (e-Crimes), Interception of Communications, and Electronic Evidence
 
The Second HIPCAR Stakeholder Consultation Workshop to adopt and validate the Legislative Frameworks on Cybercrime (e-Crimes), Interception of Communications, and Electronic Evidence was held in Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis (16 June 2011), followed by a Capacity-building / Sensitization Training Workshop (17 June 2011), kindly hosted by the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis’ Department of Technology and co-organized with the HIPCAR Project.
The objectives of the Consultation Workshop were to review, adopt and validate the proposals for reform of the aforementioned framework to facilitate harmonization in accordance with the HIPCAR Model Policy Guidelines and Legislative Texts.
The Capacity-building / Sensitization Training Workshop was aimed to raise awareness of the updated legal framework and ensure that roles and responsibilities are clearly articulated for those involved in implementing the Act as well as on subjects selected amongst those covered by the updated legal framework.

The HIPCAR Stakeholder Consultation Workshop to review the Legislative Frameworks on Cybercrime/Electronic Crimes; Interception of Communications and Electronic Evidence was held in saint Kitts & Nevis (30 – 31 May 2011), kindly hosted by the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis’ Department of Technology and co-organized with the HIPCAR Project.
 
The objectives of the Workshop were to review the proposals for reform of the aforementioned framework to facilitate harmonization in accordance with the HIPCAR Model Policy Guidelines and Legislative Text.
