ITU Regional Workshop for Africa and Arab regions on “National Cybersecurity Strategies”, 10- 12 December 2019, and on the Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) Report- Iteration 2018, 13 December 2019, Tunis, Tunisia

​ITU Regional Workshop for Africa and Arab regions on “National Cybersecurity Strategies" is organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) at the kind invitation of the National A​gency for Computer Security (NACS) of Tunisia.
 
The Workshop will take place in Tunis, Tunisia, from 10-12 December 2019, and it will be followed by a half-day workshop to present the Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) Report of 2018 on 13 December 2019.
 
This workshop is being organized within the framework of the ITU Regional Initiative for Africa and Arab regions on building trust and confidence in the use of telecommunications/ ICTs  adopted by the ITU World Telecommunication Development Conference 2017 (WTDC-17), that amongst others aims at elaboration or review of national cybersecurity strategies and sharing country and regional best practices and case studies.
 
This workshop is designed to address mid to senior level management from policy makers, regulators, corporate executives and managers undertaking cybersecurity responsibilities in their respective organizations and especially cybersecurity officials in charge of drafting ICT national policies and strategies (including from the legislative perspective) as well as the representative of the entities in charge of implementation of such policies, legal frameworks and regulations.
