PRIDA Project Workshop on the Use of SMS4DC, (ENGLISH only) 16 to 20 September, Monrovia, Liberia

​​​​​​​The "Policy and Regulation Initiative for Digital Africa" (PRIDA) is a joint initiative of the African Union (AU), the European Union (EU) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) that enables the African continent to reap the benefits of digitalization by addressing various dimensions of broadband demand and supply in Africa and building the capacities of AU Member States in the Internet Governance space. It is supported by the EU-funded Pan African Programme.

PRIDA aspires to create harmonized and enabling rules and regulations for the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a driver of social and economic development, with an emphasis on boosting the radio spectrum market across Africa.

In the framework of PRIDA Project first activities component aimed on spectrum management to improve the continental connectivity; a workshop for the use of SMS4DC release 5.1 in ENGLISH is organized for all countries in Monrovia, LIBERIA from 16 to 20 September 2019. The designated focal points of PRIDA/ITU are eligible (with priority) for a full fellowship (Travel and DSA) and additional participants can also be registered to attend and benefit from the workshop at their respective administration expenses. ​​​​We count on your respective participation to this useful capacity building exercise on spectrum management.
