The Girls in ICT 2024 Celebrations in Lebanon will take place on 29 April from 9:00 to 12:00 Beirut time at OGERO Premises in Beirut, Lebanon. The Event hosted by ITU in collaboration with OGERO and in coordination with the Network of Women (NoW) in ITU D intends to invite up to 25 secondary classes' girls from local schools for an open day at OGERO's Premises, where the girls will have the opportunity to learn about OGERO's work by visiting the Technical Directorate, the Data Center, and the Supercomputer. Additionally, the girls will have the privilege of meeting and hearing from female leaders from OGERO and other institutions. This interaction aims to provide insights into career paths, professional life, and the significance of ICTs, through discussions, inspirational talks, or round table discussions.

Open day at OGERO: The secondary classes’ girls from local schools (up to 25) are invited for a fun and instructive day where they will be introduced to OGERO's work by visiting the Technical Directorate, the Data center, and Supercomputer.
Meeting and hearing from female leaders on some ICT roles: Female ICT professionals (from OGERO and other institutions) are invited to share information about their career paths and professional life, as well as why they find ICTs fascinating. This may include engaging discussions, inspiring talks, or roundtable sessions. Additionally, we are considering virtual interventions from the region, including participation from Network of Wowem (NoW) in the ITU-D.
