ITU Asia-Pacific CoE Programme on "Quadplay: Costing and Pricing Infrastructure Access

Overview

The ITU Asia-Pacific Centre of Excellence (ITU ASP CoE) Training Programme on " Quadplay: Costing and Pricing Infrastructure Access" for the Asia-Pacific Region was organized jointly by the ITU, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) and the Ministry of ICT of Thailand as part of the Policy and Regulation Programme under the auspices of the ITU ASP COE.

The training was followed by a forum discussion on telecommunication/ICT economic and financial priorities in the Asia-Pacific region. The training was delivered in English.

This programme aimed to:

a) Build knowledge and skills of policy makers, regulators, telecom operators, and academia on strategic cost modelling in quad play environment.
b) Build skills on how to make practical use of cost models for decision making in the real environment using hands-on exercises.
