Introduction & Background
ASP1: Addressing special needs of least developed countries, small island developing states, including Pacific Island countries, and landlocked developing countries.

This session will focus on the telecommunication/ICT priority requirements for LDCs, SIDS, including Pacific Island countries, and LLDCs. The key focus of the session will be to share national developments and requirements in the areas of digital transformation at both national and community levels (e.g., Smart Villages and Smart Islands) in the Pacific, disaster preparedness, and quality of service. The session will also discuss ongoing and forthcoming programmes and projects and highlight opportunities for partnerships.
