On 26-27 May, 2024, the International Telecommunication Union together with Academy IO held an ideathon on creating startups for students and young professionals from Khujand, Tajikistan.
During the two days of the training, participants took part in training on idea formation, creating a business model and pitch, learned how to conduct CosDev, learned how to speak to investors and talk to their target audience. Also, experts from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan spoke about the opportunities in their countries for startups that are just starting their journey or already have an MVP and first users.
On the second day of the Ideathon, pitching of ideas took place, where 6 teams presented their business ideas to the jury and other participants.
In total, more than 30 people took part in the Ideathon.
