​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Ms. Doreen Bogdan-Martin was elected Director of the ITU Telecommunication Development Bureau on the 1st of November 2018.  She took office on the 1st of January 2019. She is a strategic leader with 30 years' high-level experience in international and inter-governmental relations and a long history of success in policy and strategy development, analysis and execution. She has advised governments around the world on policy and regulatory issues, and is a regular presenter at high-level international forums and summits. ​Prior to her election, Ms Bogdan-Martin oversaw the organization's Membership, Corporate Communications, External Affairs and UN Liaison teams, and was instrumental in establishing the Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development, on which she continues to serve as Executive Director.​ She was one of the principal architects of the annual Global Symposium for Regulators, directed ITU's first global youth summit #BYND, oversees ITU's contribution to the EQUALS Global Partnership for Gender Equality in the Digital Age, and is leading ITU's collaboration with UNICEF and others on the GIGA project to connect the world's schools. Prior to joining ITU, Ms Bogdan-Martin was a Telecommunications Policy Specialist in the National Telecommunication and Information Administration (NTIA), US Department of Commerce. She holds a Master's degree in International Communications Policy from American University in Washington, DC, post-graduate certification in Strategies for Leadership from the Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland, and is certified in Accountability and Ethics by the United Nations Leaders Programme. She is an affiliate of the Harvard University Berkman-Klein Center for Internet and Society, and a Generation Unlimited Champion. She serves on a number of advisory bodies, including the Geneva-Tsinghua Initiative, the SDG Lab Advisory Board, and the UN Technology Innovation Labs.  She is also an amateur radio operator. She is married with four children.​

Mr. Stephen Bereaux is the Deputy to the Director of the ITU Telecommunication Development Bureau since 7 March 2020. Mr. Bereaux is an experienced regulator, with more than 20 years of executive and senior management experience in regulatory bodies in the Caribbean region. Prior to joining ITU, Mr Bereaux was Chief Executive Officer of the Utilities Regulation and Competition Authority (URCA), Bahamas which regulates the ICT and Electricity sectors, advises the Government on policies relating to those sectors, and represents The Bahamas at international sector related organisations such as the ITU. Prior to joining URCA in 2010, Mr. Bereaux served in senior management roles at the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT) from 2004. Before becoming a Regulator, Mr. Bereaux, an Attorney by profession since 1996, practiced law at multinational firms based in London and Hong Kong, specialising in Information Technology and Telecommunications Law.

 

 

 

​​Ms. Cristiana Flutur joined the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM) in 2012, as an expert in the Unit for International Relations and European Affairs. In June 2019, she was appointed Director for International Affairs within ANCOM, managing the activity of three units which cover issues such as relationship with international and regional organisations, translations and bilateral cooperation, EU affairs, the organization of events and travels, respectively. Ms. Flutur is the first woman to hold the position of chair of the Committee for ITU Policy (Com-ITU) and co-president of CEPT (The European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations), for a period of three years that started in June 2018. Furthermore, she has acted as European vice-chair of the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2018 (PP-18) and main coordinator for the European Common Proposals and Positions for PP-18. Ms Flutur is an Economics graduate from the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies and holds a master’s degree from the same university in European Economics. She has an extensive experience in the public sector, in both national and international institutions.


 

​​​Ms. Irena Vojáčková-Sollorano joint in this capacity the UN Development Coordination Office on 1. August 2019 while serving as UN Resident Coordinator to the Republic of Turkey. Prior to this assignment she was UNRC/UNDP RR to the Republic of Turkey (2016-2018) and the UN RC/UNDP RR to the Republic of Serbia (2013-2016). Prior to her appointments with the UN, she has served in different capacities for 28 years in IOM as Director of the Department for Migration Management in IOM Headquarters in Geneva, Regional Director for Southeast Asia in Bangkok and Regional Director for Central Europe in Vienna. She has gained global expertise in migration management, migration and development and refugee issues as well as in emergency response and change management. She holds a Diploma/Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines; Diploma/Diplomatic Academy in Vienna, Austria; Master’s in History, Geography, and International Law/University Vienna, Austria and a bachelor’s in History and Political Science/University Heidelberg, Germany



​Ms. Majlinda Bregu took office as the Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council on 1 January 2019, following her appointment by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP).
Ms. Bregu graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Tirana and obtained a master degree in Social and Political Science from the same university. In 2005 she was awarded a PhD in Sociology from the University of Urbino, Italy.
For three consecutive legislatures (2005-2017) she was elected a Member of Parliament of Albania. In July 2005, Ms. Bregu was elected as the president of the Albanian Parliamentary Delegation to the EU-Albania Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee. She was also the chair of the sub-Committee on Gender Equality and Minors. From March 2007 to September 2013, she served as Minister of European Integration, National IPA Coordinator and the Government Spokesperson. Majlinda Bregu is the longest-serving Minister of European Integration in Albania. During 2013 – 2017, Mrs. Bregu chaired the European Integration Committee of the Albanian Parliament. From 2015-2017 she also chaired the National Council for European Integration.



​​Mr. ​Jaroslaw K. Ponder, Head of the Office for Europe at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) (Geneva, Switzerland), representing ITU in Europe and directing actions, projects, initiatives and experts groups targeting 46 countries of the Europe Region. His portfolio includes set of Regional Initiatives for Europe, designed by the European Member States and focusing on the ICT Infrastructure, Digitization, Digital Inclusion, Accessibility, Innovation and Cybersecurity. Along the professional career, Mr. Ponder held official positions in the public sector and was a contributor to the legislative projects having the impact on the public policy. Since 2014 Mr. Ponder has been working for ITU holding diverse positions in the General Secretariat, Telecommunication Development Bureau, and Regional Presence, addressing complexity of information society development and digital transformation at national, regional, international level, including United Nations level. For several years he has managed ITU’s work on the United Nations World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) process, leading towards the establishment of the annual WSIS Forum, WSIS Prizes, WSIS Stocktaking, others. 



​Mr. Javier Ferrero Alvarez works as the Head of Systems and Digital Environment for the Andalusian Agency for Healthcare Quality, a public foundation of the Health Department of Andalusia to promote and develop quality policies. Also, he is the director of the Agency for European mHealth Hub. He holds a master degree in Telecommunication Engineering (Seville, Spain) and Master in Networks and Telecom (Lyon, France). Previously, he worked as project manager and head of department for an international engineering company (Telvent, Abengoa). He also served at the Pablo Olavide University in Seville as a professor in e-commerce specialization.


 


 

​Mr. Akos Bona is one of the founders of the Broadband Foundation and Digital Future Foundation. He accumulated More than 20 years of management experience in the IT and Telecom sector as well as in Non-Profit Organizations. Besides being the Digital Champion of Hungary to the EU, also a Member of the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition and a former State Secretary responsible for Info and Telecommunications. His main priorities are fostering Digital Innovation, incubating local digital projects to EU level, creating and sharing local best practices and to constantly build the channels of Digital Education and Digital Literacy.​


 




​Mr. Marcin Cichy is the chairman of the Eastern Partnership Electronic Communications Regulators Network since 2020. He was also appointed as President of the Office of Electronic Communications (UKE) in September 2016 for a five-year term. Before joining UKE, he worked as Director of the Analysis Bureau in the Ministry of Digital Affairs. From 2013 to 2016, he was a regulatory expert at UPC Polska, responsible for regulated access to property and telecommunications infrastructure for investment purposes. He was in charge of projects on security and electromagnetic compatibility of the HFC network. From 2005 to 2013, Marcin worked for the NRA and held a number of leading roles in projects related to mobile services. In 2011, he took over as Director of the Department of Strategy and Telecommunications Market Analysis with responsibility for ICT analytics and regulatory strategies of the former NRA heads. Between 2016-2018 Marcin was a member of the Council of the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR). Since 2016 he has been a representative of the Polish government on the Board of the International Organization of Space Communications "Intersputnik". In the years 2016-2018 he represented the Polish government in the United Nations Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD). Since 2018, member of the Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development, operating within the UN framework. In 2019, Vice-Chair of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC).

​Ms. Anastasiya  Dyakova was appointed as the Adviser on Online Safety at the Office of the Vice-Prime-Minister within the Minister for Digital Transformation of Ukraine. Ms. Dyakova initiated and took a leading role in a development of the National Strategy on child protection in the digital environment 2020- 2026. Her duties now are intersectoral coordination of Ministries, international organizations, NGOs, national and international relevant industry representatives for the strategy implementation in Ukraine. From 2017-2019, she was the National Programme Coordinator on Child Abuse Protection at the Office of the Commissioner for Children with the President of Ukraine. She coordinated the development of the national protection system for child victims of online and offline sexual abuse, and human trafficking. In 2018 Ms. Dyakova founded the first Ukrainian national educational and awareness-raising campaign on child online sexual abuse and exploitation #stop_sexting. Moreover, she launched the Ukrainian international reporting portal of child sexual abuse materials IWF together with the only in Ukraine education portal for teachers, parents and children https://stop-sexting.in.ua. In 2017- 2019, she was appointed as Senior Advisor at National child abuse protection program at UNFPA (United National Population Found).  In 2014-2016, she co-founded the NGO "Small Heart with Art," which helps children with HIV in Ukraine."

Ms. Alia El-Yassir is UN Women Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia and Representative to Turkey since September 2018. She has been working with UNIFEM/UN Women since 1997. She previously worked as the UN Women Special Representative in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt), managing a complex portfolio of programmes and projects, as well as supporting the UNCT and HCT on establishing coordination mechanisms for tackling gender equality and women’s empowerment issues. She is part of the UNDG roster of gender experts and has supported other UNCTs in this capacity. Before joining UN Women, she briefly worked with UNDP and was engaged in the education field. In addition to volunteering with a number of women’s and human rights NGOs, she has worked on educational media for children. Ms. Alia El-Yassir graduated from McGill University in Montreal and pursued post-graduate studies in Education and Anthropology, with a specialization on Gender Studies at Ben Gurion University of the Negev

 


​Mr. Nabil Gangi is the FAO Deputy Regional Representative for Europe and Central Asia, took office in March 2019. He has 20 years of experience with the United Nations in many different areas. Mr. Gangi, a national of Canada, has a background in engineering (Ain Shams University in Cairo), project and financial management (American University of Cairo) and business administration (Henley Management College and Brunel University in the United Kingdom). Mr. Gangi held the same post in FAO’s Regional Office for the Near East and North Africa in Cairo, his city of birth. Before that, he headed the Organization’s Shared Services Centre in Budapest, providing support to FAO’s backbone operations, including human resources, financial servicing, and asset and travel management. During his career with FAO, Mr. Gangi assumed senior-level positions in its headquarters in Rome, managed staff benefits, pensions, human resources, and social security for Rome-based UN agencies. Prior to joining the United Nations, he held senior management positions with multilateral and non-governmental organizations, managing programmes and projects funded by the European Union and the United States Agency for International Development. Mr. Nabil Gangi has travelled extensively and has led several organizational development missions in more than 25 countries throughout his professional career.
 

​Ms. Blanca Gonzalez currently serves as Head of Unit at the Cabinet of the Spanish Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Information Society. She has represented Spain in major ITU Conferences and meetings since 2000 and was the Head of the Delegation at the 2014 Development Conference and Plenipotentiary Conference. She was honored to serve as Chair of ITU Council Standing Committee in 2011 and 2012. Since 2010 she is the Vice chair of ITU-D Study Group 1 on behalf of Europe. Besides ITU, she has represented Spain in the European Communications Office and the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations. Ms. Gonzalez holds a MS in Physics from the University of Barcelona and an MBA from the University of California. Ms. Blanca Gonzalez currently serves as Head of Unit at the Cabinet of the Spanish Secretary of State for Telecommunications and Information Society. She has represented Spain in major ITU Conferences and meetings since 2000 and was the Head of the Delegation at the 2014 Development Conference and Plenipotentiary Conference. She was honored to serve as Chair of ITU Council Standing Committee in 2011 and 2012. Since 2010 she is the Vice chair of ITU-D Study Group 1 on behalf of Europe. Besides ITU, she has represented Spain in the European Communications Office and the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations. Ms. Gonzalez holds a MS in Physics from the University of Barcelona and an MBA from the University of California.


​Mr. Vadim Kaptur is the ITU, EBRD and UN ESCAP Expert, Vice-Chairman of ITU-D Study Group 1, and co-Rapporteur on ITU-D Question 1/1 "Strategies and policies for the deployment of broadband in developing countries". He gained more than 20 years of work experience in ICTs with international expertise in the fields related to broadband networks, cybersecurity, mobile services and ICT in general, as well as more than 15 years administrative and management experience in addressing a wide range of issues related to telecommunication policies, strategies and regulation. He served the head of organizing committees for more than 25 international forums, conferences, and workshops and the chair of international working groups while having authored more than 250 scientific publications and developed more than 55 software products.



 

​Ms. Pranvera Kastrati, Senior Expert on Economic and Digital Connectivity in Regional Cooperation Council. She had a vast experience in public policy coordination and implementation in Albania. She held senior position in the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Entrepreneurship and contributed to several reforms to improve business environment from 1996-2017. She joined Regional Cooperation Council in November 2017 and her core focus of expertise relates to the work pertaining to coordination, monitoring and reporting for the implementation of the Multiannual Action Plan for a Regional Economic Area (MAP REA), contributing also in towards the management and overall implementation of MAP REA in the areas of RCC responsibility. In the area of digital integration her core responsibilities relate to design, implementation, coordination and monitoring of RCC’s interventions in area of digital integration, as well as overseeing of the implementation of the operational and implementation plans for the Digital Agenda for Western Balkan.

Mr. Christoph Legutko is responsible for the government relations in Europe for the Governments, Markets and Trade Group of Intel Corporation.
He represents Intel at the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), at the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT), and at other regulatory and industrial bodies like Digital Europe or Bitkom.
Christoph has joined Intel in 2006. Before he has hold leading positions in the sales and R&D departments of the computing and telecommunication sectors of Siemens since 1984; in his last six years there he was responsible for radio spectrum policy of the Mobile Sector of Siemens Communications.
He began his professional career in a medium-sized electronic company in Germany where he developed the distance and movement sensors.
Christoph has studied at the Mining and Metallurgical Academy in Krakow, Poland, and received his master’s degree in Electronics Engineering in 1981.



 

​Mr. Reiner Liebler is the Head of the Department Technical Telecommunications Regulation at the Federal Network Agency for Electricity, Gas, Telecommunications, Post and Railways in Germany. Currently he is also a Vice-Chairman of the ITU-T Telecommunication Standardization Advisory Group (TSAG) and Chairman of the CEPT COM ITU Project Team on Strategic ITU-T Issues. From 2011 to 2014, he was an ETSI-Board member. In 2007 and 2012 he was the Head of the German Delegation to the ITU-R Radio Assembly (RA) - in 2007 he was also the Head of the German Delegation for the ITU-R World Radio Communications Conference.
 


 


 
Ms. Hine-Wai Loose leads DCAF’s Project on “Enhancing Cybersecurity Governance in the Western Balkans”. To this role, Ms. Loose brings an extensive background in United Nations and multilateral negotiations and international security. Previously, Ms. Loose served as the Deputy of the Implementation Support Unit for the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons in the United Nations. In this role, she led the work on lethal autonomous weapons. Ms. Loose began her career in New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and worked on disarmament, environmental negotiations, human rights and international law. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Law (Otago, New Zealand) and Masters of International Law (Geneva, Switzerland).


 



 

​​​Ms. Alina Modan joined the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM) in 2019, as councilor to the President of ANCOM on International Relations matters. Currently, she is an expert in the of International Organizations Relations Unit within the ANCOM International Relations Division. Recently, Ms. Modan has been appointed Vice-chair of Study Group 2 of the ITU-D Sector until the upcoming World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-21). Ms. Modan is an Economics graduate from the Faculty of International Business and Economics, Bucharest University of Economic Studies, activating at present in the master’s program on International Business Management of the same university.


 


 

Mr. Turhan Muluk joined Intel in 2006. He is representative of Intel at ITU-D Sector and working for Governments, Markets and Trade Group in EMEA Region.
Before joining to Intel, he worked 14 years for Turk Telekom on different wireless broadband projects. He also involved with ETSI, ITU, IEEE studies and worked as Vice Rapporteur at different ITU-D Questions. Turhan has also organized different joint activities together with ITU.
He was the chairman of WiMAX Forum for the Middle East and Africa. Turhan Muluk is graduated from Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of the METU in Turkey and a member of IEEE.


 


 




​Dr. Violeta Isabel Perez Nueno is a Consultant at WHO, Digital Health and Innovation Department. Before she was the Programme Officer – of EU Policies and Research Coordinator at the European Commission, and representative of the European Commission in Strategic Governing Groups. She received her Ph.D. in computational chemistry in 2009. During that period, she participated in two research projects promoted by the Catalan Government and the Spanish Ministry of Science, she was involved in international scientific collaborations (UK, Italy, and France), and she was awarded three times for her work on anti-HIV drugs (XII Premio de Investigación Dr. Antonio Esteve, EXPOQUIMIA I+D+i 2011 award, PhD Extraordinary Award from the Ramon Llull University). After, she was engaged as associate professor in computational chemistry (Universitat Ramon Llull, Barcelona Spain). She  has 35 publications (27 in international leading journals), 1 book chapter, 3 patents, and her scientific work has been recognized several times as ACS Journal Front Covers. In 2016-2018 she performed a Master in Health Economics and Pharmacoeconomics.


 

Ms. Amela Odobašić heads the Public Affairs Division of Communications Regulatory Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2001. She also works as communications and regulations specialist nationally and internationally. On behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ms. Odobašić acts as Designated Focal Point for relations with the International Telecommunications Union. In 2014, she was appointed Co-rapporteur for the Study Group 1 Question 7 “Access to telecommunications/ICT Services by persons with disabilities and other persons with specific needs,” and in 2018, its Rapporteur. Besides, Ms. Odobašić is a Vice-Chair to ITU Study Group 1 for the mandate 2018-2021. Nationally and internationally she devises and implements advocacy campaigns and delivers training courses on ICT accessibility on behalf of ITU.


 


 

​Ms. Adelina Ognyanska is a senior expert in International Cooperation in IT and Communications Department, European Coordination and International Cooperation Directorate at The Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications of the Republic of Bulgaria. She is also the Focal Point for ITU for the Republic of Bulgaria.


 


 


 


 

Mr. Nenad Paunovic is the Director of the IT and Entrepreneurship team in the Office of the Prime Minister of Serbia, supporting further growth of knowledge-based economy and digital transformation of healthcare in the country. Previously, he was co-founder of Belgrade Venture Forum, the largest innovation, investments and entrepreneurship forum in the region. He was also a business growth consultant with 20 years of professional experience, cooperating with 1.000+ companies throughout the career.
He holds EMBA from Cotrugli Business School and management degree from Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade. He is an AIESEC alumni and was President of the Board of Cotrugli Alumni Club in Serbia.
 


 


 

​Ms. Inmaculada Placencia-Porrero is a Senior Expert in Disability and Inclusion at Directorate-General Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion at the European Commission.Her unit is responsible for the coordination of European policies for persons with disabilities. She works on European disability policies including the European Disability Strategy 2010-2020, and the EU implementation of the UNCRPD. Ms. Inmaculada holds a degree in Physics and Computer Science and worked in research and development before joining The European Commission in 1991. She has worked on research programmes addressing accessibility as well as assistive technologies and was Deputy Head of Unit for various disability-related units in the Commission. Her work in the E-Inclusion Unit of the Directorate-General for Information Society and Media addressed accessibility policy. While at the Directorate-General for Justice she contributed to disability-related anti-discrimination legislation. She was responsible for the Task Force for the preparation of the European Accessibility Act and remains responsible since its adoption in 2015.


 

​Ms. Inga Rimkeviciene, Head of International and Public Relations Division at the Communications Regulatory Authority (RRT) of the Republic of Lithuania, works at the national regulator for 15 years, for the last 2 years is responsible for international and public relations of the RRT. Participant of several international projects in the field of communications, member of Standardization Technical Committee on Electromagnetic Compatibility (TK 8). Since 2018, Member of Lithuanian delegation at the main ITU events, including the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference (Dubai, 2018), ITU Council, GSR, other.  Chair of the Steering Committee of ITU Europe Centres of Excellence for the period 2019-2020.
 


 


 



 

​Ms. Ruth Sciberras is the CEO of Aġenzija Sapport. She is a Social Worker by profession and has been working in the field of social work for the past twenty two years. Ms. Sciberras’s experience within the social welfare sector started as a social worker within Aġenzia Appoġġ, the main social work agency in Malta that deals with cases of children, youths and families in need. She has been part of the management team of Aġenzija Appoġġ for a number of years, where she was a Service Manager for a number of services including the Intake and Protection Service. Also, Ms. Sciberras served as Operations Director of Aġenzija Appoġġ until October 2019, with a vast experience in several of the Agency’s services before that. Ms. Sciberras also chairs the Positive Parenting Committee and also sits as a member on the board of the Manucca Child Care Centre.


 


 

Mr. Dan Sjöblom is the Director General of  Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS); and Chair-designate, Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC). Prior to taking up his position, Mr Sjöblom was the Director General for the Swedish Competition Authority for eight years, between 2009 and 2017. He is also board member of the Swedish Broadband Council. Mr Sjöblom has served as a civil servant at the European Commission between 1996 and 2009. He holds a Master of Laws from Stockholm University.
 


 


 

​Ms. Ratka Strugar is currently General Director for Electronic Communications, Postal Services and Radio-Spectrum in the Ministry of Economy of Montenegro where She had been the Deputy Minister between 2011 and 2016. Before that she had been Adviser to the Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism. Her industrial experience includes work in Montenegrin Telecom in the position of Head of the Human Resources Department and Company Secretary in two terms in period 2001-2010. Before, she had more than one decade work experience in Secretariat for Legislation of the Government of Montenegro as Senior Adviser in Department for Economic System and Economic Relations.


 

​Dr. Lidia Stepinska-Ustasiak is a Sociologist (PhD), focusing on the social impact of technology and the implications of ICTs for human and institutional capacity building. She is a public policy expert with 6 years of academic work and more than 10 years of experience in the telecommunication sector (Orange and UPC). She is an author of reports and publications, a lecturer and public speaker. As the head of social and corporate policy in the UKE (Office of Electronic Communications),Dr. Lidia Stepinska-Ustasiak is a Sociologist (PhD), focusing on the social impact of technology and the implications of ICTs for human and institutional capacity building. She is a public policy expert with 6 years of academic work and more than 10 years of experience in the telecommunication sector (Orange and UPC). She is an author of reports and publications, a lecturer and public speaker. As the head of social and corporate policy in the UKE (Office of Electronic Communications), Dr. Stepinska-Ustasiak is responsible for NRA’s relations with entrepreneurs, public administrations, consumers and academic institutions.


 

Ms. Vilma Tomco heads the National Authority for Electronic Certification and Cyber Security of Albania since 2017. Also, from 1998 onwards she has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and at several other universities. She holds a PhD in Information Systems with a dissertation on " Evaluation and implementation of e-Government in developing countries. The case of Albania: The model of public services for the citizens”. She has a long working experience in the telecommunications sector holding several top positions in Albtelecom &Eaglemobile between 1998 and 2013. From 2014 to 2017 she was Director for the Department of European ICT Agenda, renamed Innovation and Good Governance, at the Prime Ministry of Albania. 


 



 

Ms. Marta Arsovska Tomovska is the Director of the PAR team and Advisor for IT and eGovernment at the Office of the Prime Minister of Serbia. Previosly, she was Macedonian Minister for ICT and Public Administration, and C-level executive in the IT and telecommunication industry. She is considered to be one of the pioneers of the internet access in the Western Balkans, leading one of the first Internet Service Providers and several cyber security initiatives. Marta is an Executive Board Member of the UN framework organization World Summit Awards, and is also serving other boards. Certified by the UN's ITU for building national digital innovation ecosystems, she is now advising governments, organizations and corporations on digital transformation and innovation. BSc. in Electrical Engineering, MSc. in Economy and Computer Science, educated on Kellogg School of Management and Harvard Kennedy School, Marta is frequent panelist and speaker on the most prestigious ICT conferences worldwide on topics such as digital transformation, innovation, and eGovernment.

​Dr. Szymon Wójcik is a sociologist. He graduated from Warsaw University where is also a PhD student at the Institute of Applied Social Sciences. He currently works at Nobody’s Children Foundation where he coordinates awareness raising actions of Polish Safer Internet Centre. He is also engaged in conducting studies concerning children and youth safety online. He was Polish coordinator of EU NET ADB – European study on internet addictive behaviour among minors. He contributed to educational publications on Internet threats among children and youth


 



 

Mr. David Wright is Director UK Safer Internet Centre at SWGfL, working alongside partners Childnet and IWF.  The UK Safer Internet Centre is the national awareness centre and forms part of the European Commission’s Safer Internet Programme.  He has worked extensively in the area of online safety for many years not only with children, schools and wider communities but also with partner agencies such as the Police and social work, as well as Government and Ofsted. David has presented at online safety conferences both nationally and internationally and chairs the National Education Network Safeguarding Group in the UK and is an active member of the UK Council for Child Internet Safety. Through SWGfL, David has lead pioneering work, such as the development of BOOST (http://boost.swgfl.org.uk), the multi award winning 360 degree safe (www.360safe.org.uk), e-Safety Live and together with the University of Plymouth, has published a number of ground-breaking UK reports.


 

Ms. Emina Zolota is a high school student from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Throughout her education and at a very young age, she developed a passion for programming. Today, she is proficient in several programming languages and is interning as a backend developer at a local IT company (Ministry of programming). In May 2019, she first decided to apply to the IT Girls contest "Tehnomasta"(Technimagination) with her Go Green idea, where IT Girls helped her design and develop a business strategy for a recycling project using digital technologies. With the continuous IT Girls support, with her team she applied to theEuropean Youth Awards Impact Weekend(ideas competition), where her idea won second place, and she got an opportunity to continue developing her Go Green project. Her passion for IT kept evolving over the years, so this year, Emina decided to start studying computer science.
