The Regional Forum goes virtual!

In order to respect social distancing, this year's Regional Forum will be entirely virtual.  All speakers and participants will connect remotely. 

The Regional Forum on Sustainable Development for UNEC​E Region is organized every year by UN Economic Commission for Europe, in close cooperation with the regional UN agencies, including ITU. The forum takes place on 19 March 2020. This yearly forum is meant to following up on and reviewing the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals – SDGs – in the UNECE Region. As the UN Agency for ICTs, ITU continues to advocate for the enabling role of ICTs in achieving SDGs. 

This year, ITU will lead the Focus Event 4 on Economic transformation, finance and technology for SDG acceleration.

How can I participate in the Regional Forum? 

The Regional Forum 2020 will be entirely virtual, using the online platform Webex. Connection details will be shared by e-mail on 18 March.
