This session on the development of broadband in rural areas took place at ITU Headquarters (ITU Montbrillant building, Room K) in Geneva, Switzerland on Wednesday, 25 September 2019, from 09:30 to 12:30 following the ITU-D Study Group 1 Question 5/1 Rapporteur Group meeting dedicated to “​Telecomm​unications/ICT​s for rural and remote areas”. The session contributes to the implementatio​n of the Q​​uestion 5/1 workplan.
