This workshop on conformance and interoperability challenges for digital transformation will take place at ITU Headquarters (ITU Tower building, Room C2) in Geneva, Switzerland on Friday, 2 June 2023, from 09:00 to 12:00 hours, following the ITU-D Study Group 2 Question 4/2 meeting on Thursday, 1 June 2023 from 14:30 to 17:30 hours dedicated to “Telecommunication/ICT equipment: Conformance and interoperability, combating counterfeiting and theft of mobile devices”.

Background information

This workshop is organized by the Management Team of ITU-D Study Group Question 4/2. It aims to identify and discuss issues related to Conformance and Interoperability (C&I) of ICT equipment, with a focus on challenges facing developing countries. Discussions will focus on topics detailed in this programme, which are related to ICT product compliance in the age of digital transformation. Participation in the workshop is open to ITU Member States, Sector Members, Associates and Academia, as well as anyone wishing to contribute to the work. This includes people who are also members of international, regional and national organizations.
