Background information
Following the beneficial
Q7/2 Final Report for the study period 2018-2021 and in response to the outcomes of WTDC-22, Resolution 62 Task 3 ‘Continue to cooperate through the exchange of experts and the organization of seminars, specialized workshops and meetings’, this human-exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF) workshop focuses on international, regional and national policies. Distinguished RF-EMF international experts from various organizations, such as the World Health Organization (WHO), International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP), GSMA and ITU; regional experts (such as Southern African Region) and countries (China) will share their acquaintance as speakers. The session contributes to the implementation of the Question 7/2 workplan and is addressed to representatives of ministries, regulators, telecom operators, universities and general education institutions, telecommunication equipment manufacturers, research and design institutes, software developers and other interested stakeholders of the ITU Member States, Sector Members and Associates.
