Focus Session on How are ITU-D Study Group1 products used?

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Time and place: Wednesday, 10 May 2023 from 11:00 to 12:30, Geneva (Room C​​, ITU)

This workshop took place in conjunction with ITU-D Study Group 1 Rapporteur Group Question (RGQ) meetings. It was open to non ITU-D Members and the public at large. It addressed the mandate of ITU-D Study Group 1 namely "Enabling environment for meaningful connectivity”. Meaningful connectivity is a level of connectivity that allows users to have a safe, satisfying, enriching and productive online experience at an affordable cost.
More specifically, the workshop will look at enhancing usage of ITU-D Study Group 1 outputs such as interim deliverables, guidelines, and final reports. Facilitated by BDT Innovation service​, this workshop introduced a framework to think about the problem and how to translate that into a roadmap using the tools and frameworks available in the Digital Transformation (DT) Lab. This setup was a demonstration about system thinking and how to start addressing systems issue. The workshop led with a concrete example and next step roadmap sketch for its implementation. ​
