Partial Fellowship Eligibility

Within the available budget, one partial fellowship may be granted to delegates from Member States of the ITU of the concerned region representing Least Developed Countries and low-income countries with a GDP per capita of less than 2,000 USD, with priority to Least Developed Countries (LDCs).

Partial Fellowship:  Air ticket   or   Daily Allowance

A partial fellowship includes:

• one return economy class ticket by the most direct/economical route from the country of origin to the location of the event; OR
• daily allowance to cover accommodation, meals and incidental expenses.

How to Register to the Event and Submit a Partial Fellowship Request

1. Register to the event through your Designated Focal Point (DFP) for ITU-R event Registration. For participant who wish to request a fellowship, the DFP should tick the "Fellowship Request" box on the online registration form. Online registration to the event, through the corresponding Designated Focal point, is required to submit a fellowship request.
2. Upon processing of the registration request by the ITU, a pre-filled fellowship request form will be emailed directly to the delegate (using the email address provided on the online registration form by the DFP).
3. The fellowship request form should be signed and approved by a duly authorized officer of the administration; the official stamp of the administration must also be applied. It is the responsibility of each delegate to ensure that the duly completed, signed and approved form is returned to ITU before the deadline (see below). 

Deadline and Other Conditions

Deadline for submitting an authorized fellowship request for this event : 3 March 2017. Requests submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

Only requests that have fulfilled all conditions will be considered.

It is imperative that fellows be present from the first day to the end of the event and participate during the entire fellowship period.
