ZANON, João

S1P4-photo-Joao-Zanon.jpgJoão Zanon (zanon@anatel.gov.br) is a Telecommunication engineer and works as one of the coordinators of the Regulatory Team of ANATEL, the Brazilian telecommunication regulatory body. At Anatel, he leads the project on the combat of counterfeit, substandard and unauthorised ICT devices, and also focus most of his work on other mobile service regulation subjects (like quality of service measurement, transition to IPv6, MVNO, Mobile Payment and geolocation on emergency calls). He also has been contributing on international forums, like ITU and CITEL, and today is Associate rapporteur of the Question Q8/11 of ITU-T, and Co-Rapporteur on CITEL’s rapporteurship responsible for the discussion on counterfeit, substandard and unauthorised ICT devices."
