Karim Loukil, CERT

Karim Loukil PhotoMr Karim Loukil is a chief engineer and has a Master in Communication Systems (microwave). He disposes courses at the University of Carthage. He holds the position of Director at the Centre of Studies and Research in Telecommunications (CERT).

He has more than 20 years experience in the field of information and communications technology (ICT) and over 10 years experience in conformance testing, including electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and Radio testing.

Mr Karim Loukil is also one of the founders of CERTLabs testing laboratories in Tunisia that he currently manages and he is expert/trainer of ITU in the area of compliance ​and interoperability. Among the projects he has managed:
- Niger: establishment of a regulatory framework for C&I 2015/2016
- Tunisia: Monitoring the implementation of CERT Labs testing laboratory between 2008 and 2013
- Maghreb: Compliance and Interoperability Evaluation Study
- Tunisia: Study of profitability and feasibility for EMC compliance testing laboratory.
- Assistance to DGACPT (Congo) for the planning of their needs (DVB-T & T-DAB) at the conference RRC 06 in Geneva.
