Joint IEEE 802 and ITU-T Study Group 15 workshop “Building Tomorrow’s Networks”

Introduction
The International Telecommunication Union and IEEE 802 organized a workshop on "Building Tomorrow’s Networks" at the ITU Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland on 27 January 2018. This workshop intended to offer a platform for all involved stakeholders and aimsed to focus on topics such as optical interfaces, mobile fronthaul, 5G mobile transport, passive optical network (PON), management and YANG modeling.

This workshop was held in conjunction with the IEEE 802.1 and IEEE 802.3 interim meetings (22-26 January 2018), and the ITU-T Study Group 15 meeting
(29 January – 9 February 2018) in ITU headquarters, Geneva.

Target Audience
ITU members and non-members were invited to attend.
