KievitSander Kievit
TNO
Sander is an all-round security researcher at TNO. During his time at TNO he has worked on a wide variety of topics, ranging from research to novel methods for detection and monitoring of advanced persistent threats to security compliancy reviews of large IT-systems. Over the last four years Sander has focused on developing security solutions for mobile networks and as part of this activity Sander participates in working group SA3 of 3GPP on behalf of the Dutch operator KPN. In addition to his participation in 3GPP SA3, Sander also leads the security workpackage of the H2020 project SaT5G and takes part in the 5G-PPP security working group on behalf of TNO.
KimHyungsoo (Hans) Kim
KT
Hans (Hyungsoo) Kim has worked at KT (Korea Telecom) R&D part from 1993. He had successfully led outstanding projects in relation to B-ISDN (Broadband-Integrated Digital Network), NGN (Next Generation Network), IP QoS (Quality of Service), Green ICT, Smart Grid and 5G. Now he is responsible for leading the technical strategies, as a Director of Technology Strategy Division in KT. Dr. Kim has a Ph.D. in electronics engineering from Kon-Kuk University. In addition to his role in KT, Dr. Kim has participated in ITU-T based international standards activities, since 1997. ​Now he is working as a Vice-Chairman for ITU-T Study Group 13 and Chairman of Working Party 1/SG13.​​​
KungAntonio Kung
Trialog

Antonio Kung co-founded Trialog in 1987 where he acts as CTO. He has a background on cyberphysical systems, with an initial experience on the development of real-time operating systems. He focuses on the integration of non functional requirements such as dependability, interoperability, security or privacy. He has worked in a number of domains (ageing, smart cities, energy, or transport) and has coordinated a large number of European projects in these areas.
He is involved in standardisation activities on security and privacy, currently the editor of ISO/IEC 27550 Privacy engineering and contributor to security and privacy standards related to big data, IoT, and smart cities. Antonio holds a master’s degree from Harvard University, United States and an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale Paris, France.
LeeGyu Myoung Lee
LJMU / KAIST

Gyu Myoung Lee is with the Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), UK, as a Reader from 2014 and with KAIST Institute for IT convergence, Korea, as an Adjunct Professor from 2012. Prior to joining the LJMU, he has worked with the Institut Mines-Telecom, Telecom SudParis, France, from 2008. Until 2012, he had been invited to work with the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Korea. He also worked as a research professor in KAIST, Korea and as a guest researcher in National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), USA, in 2007.
His research interests include Internet of things, computational trust, knowledge centric networking and services, multimedia services, and energy saving technologies including smart grids. He has been actively working for standardization in ITU-T, IETF and oneM2M, etc., and currently serves as a WP chair in SG13, a Rapporteur of Q16/13 and Q4/20 as well as an the chair of ITU-T Focus Group on data processing and management (FG-DPM) to support IoT and smart cities & communities. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.
He received his BS degree from Hong Ik University, Seoul, Korea, in 1999 and his MS and PhD degrees from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea, in 2000 and 2007.
LinZhaoji Lin 
ITU-T Study Group 17

Zhaoji Lin is the vice-chairman of ITU-T SG17 and vice-chairman of Working Party 3 of ITU-T SG17. He works as an ICT Security Standardization director in the technical planning and development unit at ZTE Corporation. He is also active in many international and regional standards organizations, including Open Mobile Alliance (OMA), Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and China Communications Standards Association (CCSA) in the areas of device management, digital rights management, identity management, IoT security and cloud computing security. He is the author, editor, and co-editor of many ITU-T recommendations, OMA specifications and CCSA standards.
MiyakeYutaka Miyake  
KDDI R&D Laboratories

Dr Yutaka Miyake has been engaged in the research on high-speed communication protocol and secure communication system at the KDD R&D Laboratories and KDDI R&D Laboratories Inc. He is currently a senior manager of Technology Strategy Department in KDDI Corporation, and is also a senior manager of Smart Security Laboratory in KDDI Research Inc. He began participating in ITU-T SG 17 in 2005 and has been actively contributing to its activities as information security experts. He is a vice chair of ITU-T SG17, and a chair of WP1/SG17 from March 2017.
NahJae Hoon Nah 
ITU-T Study Group 17

Dr. Jae Hoon Nah is a Rapporteur of ITU-T Study Group 17, Security. He began participating in ITU-T SG 17 in 2005. For the two Study Periods (2009 – 2012, 2013-2016), he served as a Rapporteur of Question 7/17 (Secure Application Services). He has been a Project Editor or Co-editor for 8 approved ITU-T Recommendations or agreed Supplements in the area of P2P (Peer-to-Peer) security, IPTV security, Web security, authentication protocol. From 1987, he has worked as a researcher for ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunication Research Institute), Republic of Korea. He is currently a special fellow researcher of Security Research Laboratory in ETRI. He had developed wired/mobile call processing software of a digital switching machine (TDX-10 ISDN, TDX-ATM) from 1987 to 2000. And He had developed security protocols and standards of secure P2P services, scalable code of IPTV security, Mashup Web security, and enhanced attribute-aggregated authentication from 2001.
Rupprecht​​​​David Rupprecht
Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security              

David Rupprecht received his B.Eng. in Computer Science and Telecommunications from the University of Applied Sciences for Telecommunications Leipzig, Germany, in 2012. He continued his studies with a focus on IT Security, Networks, and Systems and received his master's degree 2015 from the Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany. During this time he spent one semester as an exchange student at the Drexel University, Philadelphia. Since 2015, David Rupprecht is a doctoral student at the Information Security Group of the Horst Görtz Institute for IT Security, Bochum. His research interests include mobile network security with a focus on access networks. His work explores implementation as well as specifications flaws in current and future mobile networks. In his daily work, he makes use of software-defined radios for the implementation of attacks and countermeasures.
Peter ​​​Peter Schneider
Nokia Bell Labs

After receiving his diploma in mathematics, Peter started his professional career at Siemens, as a researcher on new software architectures. For several years, he worked on the research and prototyping of innovative communication solutions. Later, he became a systems engineer for the IP based mobile core network, working on various aspects of the IP technology, in particular on IP security, deep packet inspection and IP network reliability. Since 2007, he is focusing on network security research. Currently, he is a senior expert for mobile network security in the Security Research Team at Nokia Bell Labs. In this position, he has been involved in various security research projects including publicly funded international projects. He has published his research results at various conferences, and has given many invited talks and tutorials on network security topics. His research interests include all aspects of mobile network security, in particular security for programmable, cloud-based networks and the overall security architecture of future 5G networks.
Scholl ​​Reinhard Scholl
ITU

Reinhard Scholl is Deputy to the Director of the ITU Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (also known as the ITU-T Secretariat). Previously he has been with Siemens in Munich, Germany and with the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). He received a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Illinois, USA. He also served on the ICANN Board.
TaddeiArnaud Taddei
Symantec              

M. Arnaud Taddei is Director, Standards and Architectures, Digital Service Providers in the Office of the CTO, reporting directly to M. Hugh Thompson, CTO of Symantec Corporation. M. Taddei is an industry specialist covering the Digital Service Providers with whom he works extensively for the past 20+ years. As such he is as well chairman for the Working Party 3 – Application Security in the Study Group 17 – Security at the International Telecom Union (ITU) and participates to other Standard Defining Organizations (SDOs) like IETF, IEEE, ETSI, etc. Graduated as Telecom Engineer from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Télécommunication de Bretagne, France, M. Taddei owns as well a French research Diploma (called DEA) with INRIA, which lead him to the Institute of Control Sciences, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow in 1992. Both French and Swiss citizen, he was drafted in the French Army with the special status of ‘Troops Scientist' in the Flight Simulator Section of the French DGA. He started his career in 1993 as solution architect at CERN IT Division in Geneva. Having the chance to work on the first ever Web Server as Sir Tim Berners Lee invented it at CERN, he lead several key IT projects across the High Energy Physics global community. In 1994, when Messaging became a critical issue, he designed a unique architecture at that time to scale what was the largest Internet based messaging platform outside of the United States. Promoted Section Leader in the IT division he lead a team responsible for Communication, Authentication and Authorization and had the chance to work with key mentors such as Brian Carpenter, at that time, chair of IETF. In 2000, he joined Sun Microsystems as Solution Architect for EMEA professional services team, then world wide, and finally became one of the 100 elected global principle architects. He developed specific architecture methods, consultancy approach and executive advisory with his partners while designing joined solutions for their markets, conforming to regulations and in particular legal interception. Finally he joined Symantec in April 2007, as EMEA Chief Architect for Service Providers and covering the entire Symantec portfolio including Norton. M. Taddei moved to the corporate level as Director to influence the Product Teams. After 10 years in the company he was offered to join the Office of the CTO, opening a new chapter in regards to Standardization and disruptive Architectures and Design.
WangHaiguang Wang
Huawei

Dr. Haiguang Wang received his BSc. from Mathematic Department, Peking University in 1996, and Ph.D. from National University of Singapore in 2009. In 2013, he joined 2012 Lab, Huawei as a Senior Researcher and responsible for 5G security research and standardization. Currently he is a delegate of Huawei for 5G security standardization. Before joining Huawei, he had been working as a scientist in Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), A*Star, Singapore since year 2001, and responsible for research, design and implementation on wireless communication and networking protocols. From 2008 to 2009, he joined Hisilcon and had been working as senior engineer for one year. He has deep knowledge in communication network security (4G/5G), authentication and key distribution, communication and network protocol design and implementation, and Linux operating system etc. He has more than ten-year experience on communication protocol standardization.
WongStan Wong
King’s College London

Stan Wong received BEng and M.Sc. from King's College London (KCL), and Ph.D. from University of London in 2009. In 2014, he joined an IT consultancy firm in Hong Kong as a system consultant and responsible for metro Ethernet 2.0 network infrastructure design. In 2015, he rejoined KCL and worked on the EU-funded project covering the 5G Security. In 2016, he won the collaborative spectrum sharing prize from European Commission. He has deep knowledge in 5G security, machine learning data analytic, and different standard IoT air interfaces and application. His expertise is in trust computing, trust model, behaviometrices, big data, NFV and SDN. 
Youm​​Heung Youl Youm
Chairman, ITU-T Study Group 17, Security              

He began participating in ITU-T SG 17 in 2003 and has actively contributed to the work of SG17 as a core member of security experts for more than 13 years. He was an associate Rapporteur of SG 17 Question 10/17 from 2003 to 2004. For the Study Period (2005 – 2008), he served as a Rapporteur of Question 9/17. He was a Vice Chairman of ITU-T Study Group 17 from 2009 to 2016. He was Chairman of Working Party 2 (Application Security) of SG17 for the Study Period (2009–2012) and was Chairman of Working Party 3 (Identity management and cloud computing security) of SG17 for the Study Period (2013–2016). He has been a Project Editor or Co-editor for 19 approved ITU-T Recommendations or agreed Supplements in the area of IPTV security, home network security, authentication protocol, USN security, mobile security, and cybersecurity. From 1990, he has worked as a professor for the Department of Information Security Engineering of the Soonchunhyang University, Korea. He is currently the Director of SCH cybersecurity research centre in Soonchunhyang University. He was a president of KIISC (Korea Institute on information security and cryptology) in 2011 and is an emeritus president of KIISC. He had worked for ETRI as a senior research engineer from 1982 to 1990. He is active in many (advisory or self-performance evaluation) committees in the area of Information Security and privacy for the Korea Communications Commission (KCC) from 2008 to 2016, the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP) since 2013, and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MoTIE) since 2015. He is Chairman for the ISMS/PIMS certification committee in Korea since 2007 and chairman for the committee on information security in the PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games. He received a Bachelor degree in 1981, a Master degree in 1983, and a Ph.D. degree in 1990, all in Electronics Engineering from Hanyang University, Korea. 
ZuoMin Zuo
China Mobile              

Min Zuo received her Ph.D. degree in Telecommunication and Information System from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shanghai, China, in 2008. From 2008 till now, she has been working as an engineer and a researcher in China Mobile Research Institute. Her research interest includes 2/3/4/5G mobile network security, IoT (Internet of Things) security, SDN/NFV security, application/software security, and innovative security technologies such as Blockchain, etc. She had experiences working in several international SDOs and industrial alliances including ITU-T (SG17), 3GPP (SA3), NGMN (SCT), GSMA, oneM2M (WG4), W3C, IETF, ONF, GTI, etc. Now she is the co-lead of NGMN SCT, the associate rapporteur of ITU-T Q14/17 and the editor of several work items in ITU-T SG17.
