Philip Inglesant

Philip Inglesant is European Research Analyst leading work packages in European Projects at analysis and advisory company 451 Research. The company is focused on the business of enterprise IT innovation within emerging technology segments.

Philip has worked on the CoolEmAll and on going RenewIT projects in energy efficiency in data centres and on cloud-related projects including BonFIRE and OPTIMIS. In these projects he takes a leading role the dissemination, standardisation, and sustainability of project outputs.

He joined 451 Research from the University of Edinburgh, where he was working on European Commission research project MyFIRE, a socio-economic overview of EC-funded Future Internet testbeds. Prior to that, Philip was a research associate at University College London.

Philip has over thirty years' experience of the IT industry, including technical co-ordinator with GreenNet, the Internet Service Provider for the environment, gender equality and human rights and as a Unix specialist with Internet companies.​
