Motsomi is a Programme Officer in the Adaptation Programme of the UNFCCC Secretariat, under the National Adaptation Plans and Policy Subprogramme. He works on matters relating to LDCs under the Convention, and supports the work of the Least Developed Countries Expert Group on the national adaptation programmes of action (NAPAs), the national adaptation plans (NAPs) and the LDC work programme.
Prior to joining the UNFCCC Secretariat, Motsomi worked for the Government of Lesotho, supporting various areas of climate related work, ranging from climate scenarios to development and implementation of climate change adaptation strategy, among other responsibilities. He engaged in various regional/international programmes and on climate and climate change, and the negotiations under the UNFCCC.
