​A workshop on “AI for Health" will take place at the ITU Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland on 5 July 2023 organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

This workshop is part of a series of linked to the ITU/WHO Focus Group on Artificial Intelligence for Health (FG-AI4H). The aim of these workshops is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, practitioners, entrepreneurs and policy makers to discuss standardization opportunities for the assessment of AI for health solutions and to identify use cases and data required for the evaluation and validation with open benchmarks. The workshop follows two days of plenary meetings at the same venue, on 3 and 4 July 2023.

The main session on general AI for health topics will be complemented by a separate track focusing on the use of AI for dentistry.

Participation is sought from practitioners in the fields of digital health, AI and machine learning, regulators, and other interested experts. Participation in the workshop and the Focus Group meeting is free of charge and open to any individual from one of the 193 countries that are a member of ITU.
