Heyuan Xu graduated Tianjin university in 1986 and got bachelor and Master in Telecommunication Science Academy of Ministry Post and Telecommunication in 1989. From 1989 to now, Heyuan Xu has been working in China Academy of Telecommunication Research (CATR) of MIIT, His field was Switching and Networking, and now dedicate himself to study NGN, IoT, and M2M etc. He actively attended ITU-T standardization activities in the past, now he is ITU-T SG13 vice-chairman, ITU-T Focus Group on M2M Service Layer (FG M2M) Chairman, ITU-T IoT-GSI TSR Coordinator.
