Giampiero Nanni is responsible at Symantec for the Public Sector Strategy in EMEA, also leading the Smart City play, around Cyber-Security, Data Protection and Resilience.
His career developed across Italy, USA, France and, currently, the UK.
More recently, Giampiero led, at Cisco, the Marketing activities for Public Sector and “Smart + Connected Communities” in Emerging Markets.
At Microsoft, as Director of Marketing, he introduced the marketing verticalisation for Public Sector in EMEA. He was also responsible for the Government Leaders Forum, the flagship event for policy makers, with Chairman Bill Gates as regular speaker, together with world political leaders.
Previous appointments, in the software and services sectors, include IBM and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
